Borders College Ready for Retail training programme

The Borders College ÔReady for RetailÕ course has been specifically created to meet a recognised lack of suitable qualifications for people with disabilities in the retail industry.
The bespoke training programme was initially developed with IKEA, Edinburgh, and is aimed at people who have a learning disability, giving them the opportunity to enhance their future job prospects.
The course is accredited by the national awarding organisation NCFE and is the first course of its type to be given a credit rating by Borders College using the SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework).
